About this campaign

Coco is a sweet, brave little Maltipoo who's been my constant companion. She loves her toys, follows me everywhere, and has always looked at me like I'm her whole world — she's truly my best friend.

Coco has been diagnosed with IMHA (Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia), a life-threatening autoimmune condition where her body attacks her own red blood cells. She's already had a blood transfusion and spent three days hospitalized in the ER, with treatment estimates ranging from $12,000–$15,000 up to $65,000 for a full week of intensive care — with no guarantee of recovery. She improved briefly on steroids, but her condition has since relapsed, and she now needs another blood transfusion along with ongoing monitoring and treatment.

Coco has been so much more than a pet to me — she's been my constant. When I was young and struggling, she was the one thing that made everything feel okay. As I grew up, she never stopped being by my side, protecting me and standing with me through every hard moment. She's brave, gentle, and endlessly loyal, and she's given me more comfort and love than I could ever put into words. Now, for the first time, she needs me the way I've always needed her.

I'm not in a financial position to cover this on my own. My income doesn't leave much room for an emergency like this, and my credit cards are already maxed out from everything we've spent so far. I'm carrying this entirely by myself, without financial support at home, but I refuse to give up on her. If I can do anything to give her a chance to live, I want to be the one who fights for that — no matter how hard it's been to get here.
