About this campaign

Our Coco came into our lives when she was just a puppy. Adopted her and her sister Zoe. She quickly became my husband's ESA dog. She is crazy about going on truck rides and playing in the snow.

Living in the country is great with how much space Coco has to run. When chasing another dog, Coco tore her ACL in her knee on her back leg. Just thinking it was a minor injury, we tried different ways to help her recover. But her most recent vet yearly appointment, she confirmed how serious her injury really was. And needs an X-ray to confirm she will need surgery.

Coco is the light and joy of our family. The bond we have created with my kids and always being there for my husband when his medical condition flares up. She is always right there to just lay beside and comfort us. Trying not to spoil her, she has even lost over 20 lbs in the last few years to help her just enjoy her life.

My husband has RSD for the last 20 years. The most painful medical condition known to man. So I can not work outside the home because my husband needs help everyday, especially when his condition flares up which can leave him bedridden for months. Even if we tried to save up for the cost of everything Coco would need, it would take years and seeing her limping and sometimes in pain, just breaks my heart that she can't walk correctly.
