About this campaign
Creamsicle was only five months old when a car hit him and broke both legs and a hip. He was brought to the local shelter and they called Cats’ Meow Feline Fosters rescue. He came to us full of life and purred every time he was touched and wanted to be cuddled all the time. But he was unable to use his back legs.
After he received pain meds and X-rays, Cats’ Meow and the local vet started looking for a surgeon for his complicated surgery. They settled on an orthopedic surgeon who visits a vet clinic in a nearby town.
The surgeon and her team spent five-and-a-half hours and both neutered Creamsicle and repaired his injuries! A day after surgery he stood on his hind legs by himself but then demanded cuddles!
Two weeks post surgery now, Creamsicle gets himself in and out of the litter box and has been exercising his legs with physical therapy. He is moving independently and showing his playful nature more every day. He is showing curiosity about his surroundings and eager to live his life.
