About this campaign

Cubby is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. We got him from a breeder when he was 6 weeks old. He has become such a great part of our life that we forget he is a dog. He is our child as we have never had children.

Cubby was diagnosed with Melanoma Cancer back in February. He underwent a surgery that "debulked" the mass. There isn't chemotherapy in Nevada or Arizona other than thru drugs. So far, this has kept the mass from spreading but it has to be treated either thru debulking surgery or thru nanotherapy. Each can cost as much as $4,500 per procedure. Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center is treating him.

Cubby has been such a great part of our life and has brought so much joy and happiness to us. We want to make sure that he is happy and is well cared for with whatever time we have left together. It is unthinkable to imagine life without him and want to do whatever we can to have as much time together.

I am retired and on Social Security which barely covers my monthly expenses. I have nearly maxed out all of my credit cards paying for his treatments including one thru Care Credit that the Vet Hospital was able to help me get.
