About this campaign
Dakota was rehome. She was my Goddaughter’s baby. She decided that she was not able to take care of her. They were relocating and her mom (my best friend), asked my daughter if she would like a pet and she’s been with us since 2020. Dakota is easy to fall in love with. She is friendly, affectionate and playful. She loves getting rubs, cuddling up close and always ready for some play time.

Surgery to remove
Lois Pope Pet Clinic - Boca Raton, FL
She brings so much love, comfort and happiness in my life. She’s always there for my cuddles, affection and playtime makes every day a little brighter!
After relocating to Florida, I experienced a significant change in my financial circumstances. I had been with my previous employer for 27 years before being laid off in June of 2025. Unfortunately, I was unable to secure employment until 2026.
During that period of unemployment, I depleted much of my savings to cover everyday living expenses, including Dakota’s care. I am still working to recover financially and get caught up on expenses.
