Someone once loved Dolly. Then she was left behind.

Dolly was found dumped in the middle of nowhere—pregnant, alone, and without food or water. Somehow, this incredibly gentle girl gave birth to 12 puppies beneath an abandoned building and kept every one of them alive, even as she became painfully thin.

Thankfully, an officer spotted Dolly searching desperately for food, followed her, and discovered her babies. That's when Flying Pigs Sanctuary stepped in.

Her puppies are now safe, and it’s finally Dolly’s turn to heal. But when this treat-loving girl suddenly refused food, everyone knew something was wrong. Bloodwork showed an alarmingly high white blood cell count, leading to X-rays, an ultrasound, additional testing, and antibiotics.
