Help Doug get Xray and possible surgery — Westminster, CO

Dougie came into my life because a family member was unable to give him the time and attention needed to raise him. He is silly full of energy and loves his squeaky toys. Doug is a lover and constantly wants to be petted and demands all the affection you can give. He is my best friend I struggle with mental health issues anxiety ptsd depression and bpd. Doug brings so much joy to my life I can’t imagine life without him.

Doug snatched a chicken wing from someone’s hand and ate it. Since then he has been showing signs of distress constant yawning and seems uncomfortable. I am very low income and struggling to get by without the emergency. I’m extremely worried about him and just want him to get the help he needs. I’m not sure which clinic to take him to just whatever is willing to work with me. He is going to need some X-rays and diagnostic to see if he’s passing the bone fragments safely.

Doug is my best friend he loves me like no one else since he has come into my life he has brought such joy. He is absolutely a hoot and makes the silliest faces and noises. He gets along with every dog he meets and is sometimes a lil scardey cat. As a puppy his ears were so large for his little body they would drag on the floor and often times smell like his pee. This made for a lot of puppy baths and he now loves to be cleaned up. He loves his little plushies and loves to snack on pumpkin seeds after I open them for him. He is a joy to be around and the best cuddler on this planet!

Currently I’m working part-time at a laundromat and flagging on the side my mental health makes it hard for me to work full time. Im doing the best I can for where I am at this moment but it isn’t enough. I just don’t have the funds necessary to get him the help he needs. I can’t imagine surrendering him and just want to see if anyone is possibly willing to give to his care. I’ve tried to apply for some financial aide and have been denied due to my limited income. I’ve been praying hard for his safety and now praying for strangers kindness to get us thru this hard time. Thank you and God bless you.
