Help Duke get Blood transfusion — Lancaster, SC

Duke was a stray who got stuck in our air vents. We rescued him during a very cold winter. We never knew that he would be one of the sweetest and bravest cats we have ever met. It is believed he was abandoned by a previous owner because he was neutered when we found him.

Duke is FLV+ and is in need of blood transfusions. He had a case of roundworms and while we got rid of them, he hasn't been able to produce blood cells. His condition is rapidly declining.

Duke is full of personality. He loves his new family and life indoors. Ever since we rescued him in February, he has constantly been sick in and out of the hospital. Despite everything he has been through, he is the sweetest and happiest cat I have ever met. He loves being held so much he will jump into your arms any chance he gets. He has shown me what true bravery and unconditional love is.

Since Duke has been in and out of the hospital for months, the costs keep piling up. And now we are looking at a couple thousand for a transfusion and overnight stay. We don't want to give up on him because we can't imagine a world without Duke.
