About this campaign
Elizabeth came into my life three weeks ago as a Foster Dog. Her current owner surrendered her. She's only 2, full of life and has the complete and full love that a Berner gives! She loves with her whole heart. We bonded instantly.
Elizabeth was not able to hold anything down and wasn't eating or drinking, I went to the ER clinic going into holiday weekend. X-rays showed something in her intestines blocking. Emergency surgery was performed to remove the item. It turns out to be a mop head which had been there some time. We only use robot mops. The home which surrendered her kept her in a laundry room every day.
She is full of life and loves with her whole heart. She jumps for joy each time someone comes home and walks everyone to the front door when they leave to watch them go. She loves ice and will always greet you at the freezer when she hears it open. She is a 70-pound lap dog who knows no personal boundaries.
The surgery was not planned and was so sudden. As a foster, we hadn't had time to get Pet Insurance or have any plan in place for emergencies. Being only 2 years old and so well-loved, combined with the vet have a good prognosis, we felt it good to move forward with surgery
