About this campaign

Ellie is our goofy girl we rescued from being left in a park her previous owner just could keep her and was going to let her go. It started as a foster which quickly failed that was 3.5 years ago. Her nickname is Monkey because she is a complete goof off and the best girl ever.

Ellie has an ear hematoma from an injury not sure if she did it herself or while playing with her doggy brother. It has been drained on 9/15/26 but is quickly filling back up. She is miserable. The vets office quoted us between 1500 - 1900. This was very unexpected and cannot afford this right now, unfortunately she cannot wait until I can acquire the funds the vet suggested we bring her by this coming Tuesday and are holding her appointment

She is our monkey girl. She brings us so much joy everyday. My kids are so sad to see her not being her goofy self, we hate to see the discomfort she is in. June made a year since we lost our other dog Kandi, I can’t bear the thought of going through that again, it is a very different situation but was extremely traumatic for our family.

I’m a single mom, we are just getting back on our feet from surviving a fire in July 2025. Ellie and her doggy brother are survivors of that fire. We recently moved into an apartment in April and it has been very tight. Everything needed to be replaced and we are still a work in progress.
