About this campaign

Gambit is a 10‑year‑old rescue who’s grown from a tiny pup into a strong, resilient part of the family. He’s been there through joyful moments and tough milestones, offering comfort, loyalty, and love. He’s not just a pet — he’s family, a steady presence whose heart has shaped every chapter of life.

Gambit faced another sudden, life‑threatening bloat. Despite his past surgery, he bloated again and needed emergency surgery where half his stomach was removed. He’s fighting hard in the ICU, with critical days ahead and care costs estimated at $15,000–$20,000 as he continues intensive treatment. He is currently being cared for at Tufts Medical School.

Gambit’s recovery means everything to our family. He’s been with us since he was a pup, growing into a loyal, loving part of our lives. He’s been there through joy and heartbreak, always giving comfort and strength. Saving him isn’t just about treatment — it’s about protecting a piece of our family’s heart.

Gambit’s emergency surgeries and ICU care have far exceeded what our family can handle alone. We’ve exhausted our savings, and his fight isn’t over. We’re turning to our community because we can’t give up on him — your support helps us keep him in the care he needs to survive.
