Help Gizmo get Hospitalization for Acute Kidney Crisis (Azotemia) — Ann Arbor, MI

I rescued Gizmo off the streets of Kuwait several years ago. He’s a beautiful tuxedo who has an amazing personality. He’s loving, fun, friendly, and loves to play. He has a sixth sense, I can't explain it. It's beautiful to witness. He's got this intuitive gift when it comes to any animal or human being in distress. He will immediately run to try to comfort them. I’m lucky to have a son like him.

Gizmo is at the Emergency Veterinary Hospital in Ann Arbor. His diagnosis is an acute kidney crisis (Azotemia). To save his life and help him recover, his treatment includes active level 2 hospitalization, a continuous IV fluid pump, and regular blood panels. He is medically stable and eating right now, but he needs this hospital care to survive.

Gizmo brings such joy to my life. He sleeps next to me so I’m never alone and follows me everywhere, even to the bathroom. He gets me to laugh and smile daily, making every day feel special. He acts just like a child—I love his meow, seeing him sleep on his back, and jumping on me. We even play hide-and-seek, and he finds me every single time. I am so lucky to have an amazing son like him.

Gizmo was first hospitalized on 10/06/2025, and I spent $5,485.81 out of my own pocket to save him. Now, I have already put down another $2,100 deposit today and have no idea how much higher it is going. I am completely on my own and financially stretched to the limit after giving everything I have. That's how important my son is to me.
