About this campaign
I received Gizmo as a gift when I first found out that I had lung cancer; he was only 6months old and we've been best friends ever since. He is a "happy-go-lucky" little guy, super friendly to everyone he meets and very well behaved. He makes me smile every day.
Incredibly sweet 8.5yo dog in desperate need of a mass removal from his neck that is growing exponentially each day. Estimated treatment costs running ~$2500 for bloodwork, xrays, surgery, hospitalization and pain relief injection at West Eugene Animal Hospital in Eugene Oregon.
It means so much to me for Gizmo to have this surgery. He is my very best friend. We've been and I cannot imagine life without him, especially now that I am faced with my own terminal condition as my cancer progresses. It just want him to be to be healthy, well cared for and to live a long and happy.
I am a low-income senior on hospice for terminal Cancer. I have Long term care Medicaid and I live in an Adult Foster Home, where I am only allowed to keep ~$221/mo from my limited income of ~$650/mo. I do not have any family members with enough financial resources to help me. Gizmo’s mass is growing daily, and it is causing me great emotional distress that I cannot afford to help him. Please help me take care of him before I die. Thank you!
