Help Henry get Cystotomy and urethrotomy — Tiffin, OH

I’ve had Henry since he was a tiny 6 week old sweet baby. He is the most loving, sweet friend a person could ask for. He loves every person and every animal he comes across. He has helped me through the roughest parts of my life in the last 6 1/2 years.

He has developed cystine bladder stones that have caused a blockage in his urethra. They attempted to clear his urethra with a catheter yesterday and unfortunately it did not work. He is undergoing emergency surgery as we speak. I informed the vet I have no money upfront because I gave them $457 the day before and I have been missing quite a bit of work due to my father having stage 4 colon cancer. The surgery is over $2000. My husband is working on pulling $1000 of that from his 401k but that takes a little bit of time.

Anyone who has pets understands that they are not just animals, they are family members. Henry has loved me unconditionally all of his life. He lifts my spirits and brings me comfort. He does not ask for anything in return, just to be loved back and taken care of. I’m embarrassed and ashamed that I can’t provide that for him on my own right now.

I have missed quite a bit of work over the last 3 months caring for my father who has stage 4 colon cancer. It is taking what I do bring in to keep my bills paid.
