About this campaign

Honey Boo was rescued by CAMO Rescue has clearly endured more than any dog should. He had abrasions on his paws, as if he had been dragging himself just to keep going. He’s missing teeth, has a severe underbite, and everything about his face and posture tells the story of a dog who has spent far too long simply surviving.

But he’s safe now. ❤️

The vet believes he has a serious spinal issue in the lumbosacral area, and his right hip is also abnormal. An MRI helped get answers, and he now needs a laminectomy surgery estimated at $5,000. He also needs surgery to correct a painful cherry eye.

Because of his spinal injury, he has special needs. He cannot completely empty his bladder on his own and needs help expressing it about three times a day to prevent painful UTIs.

This sweet boy has spent too long without comfort or proper care. Now that he’s finally safe, we want to give him the chance to heal.

Please consider donating toward his surgery, medical care, and ongoing needs. The MRI alone cost $2,500, and his treatment will continue to add up.

Every donation, no matter the size, helps give him the care he should have had all along. ❤️🐾

He’s survived long enough. Now let’s help him start living.
