Meet Huxley, an adorable 1-year-old Pomeranian from Washington who has a broken front ulna and radius. Huxley needs surgery to amputate his leg. The estimate from his veterinarian shows that his surgery will costs approximately $2,040.

Paws 4 A Cure is providing a $400 grant towards Huxley’s surgery. Huxley's mom is trying to raise an additional $1,650 so he can continue receiving the treatment he desperately needs.

“Huxley is my 1-year-old Pomeranian mix who suffered a fall on February 19th, resulting in fractures to his right front radius and ulna. After months of splinting and medication management, his veterinarian has recommended amputation as the best option for his health and quality of life.

Huxley came into my life when a former neighbor needed loving homes for her puppies, and from the moment I brought him home, our bond has been indescribable. He is by my side everywhere I go and gives me purpose and a reason to keep moving forward each day. If Huxley can’t go somewhere, I simply don’t go either.

I am incredibly grateful to Paws 4 A Cure for their $400 donation toward Huxley’s care. I am still hoping to raise the remaining $1,650 needed for his treatment. Any donation, no matter the amount, would mean more to me and Huxley than I can put into words. Your kindness will help give him the care he needs so he can be comfortable, healthy, and continue living a happy life by my side.
