About this campaign

Huxley is so much more than just a dog to me. He is a rescue who came into my life and became my emotional support, my companion, and my family.

Through every up and down, Huxley has been there—offering unconditional love, comfort, and companionship when I needed it most. He has never judged me or left my side. He is truly a special dog, and the bond we share is something I cannot put into words.

Huxley is currently facing a serious medical issue. He has a growing mass near his prepuce area that has become increasingly concerning and needs to be surgically removed and drained as soon as possible. His veterinarian has determined that this mass cannot simply be left untreated, and he needs the proper medical care to prevent it from becoming even more serious.

Huxley is my rescue dog and emotional support animal. He has been by my side through some of the hardest moments of my life and has given me unconditional love and comfort when I needed it most. He is family to me, and the thought of him suffering because I cannot afford his treatment is absolutely heartbreaking.

I am unable to afford Huxley’s surgery because my financial circumstances changed drastically after I was involved in a serious car accident that resulted in a traumatic brain injury. Since the accident, I have struggled with ongoing difficulties that have made it impossible for me to work and support myself the way I did before.

As a result, I had to move back in with my mother, and I currently depend on her for housing and basic support. Before my accident, I was independent and worked hard to provide for myself and Huxley. I never imagined that I would find myself in a position where I couldn’t afford the medical care my beloved dog desperately needs.
