Mac is the best. My neighbors call him the mayor! He’s stubborn loves without issue and loves the cuddles. He chose me sat on my foot when i wasn’t even looking.
It started with an acorn stuck in Mac’s paw. We went to the vet Sept. 2, got it treated, and he started antibiotics. On Sept. 7, Mac wouldn’t eat—and if you know Mac, he ❤️ his food! By evening, he suddenly lost use of his back legs. I rushed him to the emergency vet, where he’s staying overnight and awaiting evaluation by a neurologist. We’re hoping for answers. ❤️
He’s at Oakdale emergency animal hospital. He just wants to love everyone. He’s lovely because he loves the vet, the mailman and thinks everyone is inviting him to visit.
I just recently started working full time again. Mac does have insurance so I’m Only trying to raise his co pay and $250 deductible. I do keep insurance on Mac. I’m two months behind on my mortgage and doing everything i can to catch up.

He’s coming home!! I’ll be heading out to grab him in a bit. Big two week in front of us as well as the next three months. I’m going to close this waggles page but i promise to keep you all updated!

Hey family. The mayor made it through surgery just got the call about 20 mins ago. He has to have a good night to come home and I’ll know what the discharge plan is tomorrow when i get the call from the surgeon.

Well he’s doing well just waiting for an MRI this morning. More after i get the call from the doctor!

Just off the phone with the doctor, not great news. Need to move ahead with the MRI and Spinal tap. These two test as was the case last time will give the clearest possible indication of wants going on. Thank you to all that have found love in your hearts 💞 for my Mac.
