Help Juice Box get Total Hip Replacement — Cheyenne, WY

In early 2026, our family lost our beloved yellow lab, Zeus, to Osteosarcoma in his hind leg. Before he passed, we had everything set up for what we thought was arthritis - car ramps, rugs everywhere, joint supplements, etc.

Right after he passed, a dog named Zeus was available for adoption at our local animal shelter. He was missing his back leg. It felt like fate, since a tri-paw needs all those same things. We immediately adopted him and re-named him Juice (like Junior Zeus), and call him Juice Box. He is incredible, smart, silly and such a mama's boy, but had separation anxiety. So we adopted a second tri-paw named Mishka, who loves to play and Juice has lazy bones....so we adopted a third tri-paw, Astro. And with that our Trifecta of Tri-paws is complete.

When we adopted Juice, he was overweight, so we immediately set out to help him lose the weight. We noticed right away that his remaining back leg was giving out regularly and we have been struggling to make progress. After months of working on this and multiple instances of having to rest him for weeks at a time, we have learned that Juice has hip dysplasia (and severe arthritis) in that back leg/hip, and that's why he's struggled so much. Juice needs a total hip replacement, which can be done at Spry Companions in Colorado, with a high success rate.

Juice Box started out his young life experiencing a car accident, leg amputation and being surrendered to the local animal shelter. He is only three years old and has been through more then many dogs experience in their whole lives. We love him so incredibly much and want to give him the love and life he deserves for many years to come. Getting him this hip replacement will give him exactly that.

While we are committed to giving all three of our tri-paws all the care and love we have, a hip replacement is an expense that we neither anticipated or can afford. Without community support, we will not be able to give Juice Box the real intervention he needs to live his best, longest life.
