Help Koda get Hospitalizations, imaging, biopsies and more — Stillwater, MN

Koda is truly my best friend, always by my side and such a good boy. He is 7 years old and I ve had I’m since he was 7 weeks old. He has quite the personality. He is a very talkative boy and the guard dog I never expected. He lives for his walks every day, quite the picky “foodie” . He’s of me, I am his servant. And I love him more than anything in the world.

Koda is a patient at Rivertown Animal Hospital. He has liver enlargement, extremely increased liver enzymes and gallbladder abnormalities among other complications. The cause isn’t clear after the multiple visits and treatments. He needs to see a specialist for higher care, hospitalization and a liver biopsy. So far that’s where we’re at.

Koda is my first dog. When I got him as a puppy we created such an unbreakable bond. Over the years, he has brought so much joy to my life with his expressive voice, facial expressions and personality. I’ve never felt alone as he’s always by my side. I’m not willing to give up and would sacrifice anything possible to get him healthy. I love so much.

The cost of care with multiple days at the vet for fluids, medication and imaging has already been a significant hardship. Continued care necessary is going to be extremely difficult to find as I’m out of savings and borrowing from family. Any help would make a huge impact.
