About this campaign

Kiki is loving, affectionate, loyal, and has a way of making you smile even when you’re having the worst day. Kiki is very calm, cool, and collected. She has her own little personality and quirks that make her completely irreplaceable. She is someone I love. She has given me unconditional love and companionship, and I want nothing more than to be able to give that same love back to her.

Kiki has been diagnosed with Giardia. A parasite that dogs pick up by drinking contaminated or dirty water or eating contaminated material. Kiki had the following symptoms which is how we ended up at the After-Hours Emergency clinic. foul-smelling diarrhea, vomiting, gas, stomach discomfort, decreased appetite, weight loss, and dehydration.

Kiki is so much more than a dog to me—she is family, my companion, and a big piece of my heart. From the moment she came into my life, she quickly became someone I couldn’t imagine my life without. Kiki deserves to be treated with compassion and dignity, and I am doing everything I can to advocate for her and to get her back home where she belongs.

My biggest concern is getting Kiki home from the vet. The vet will not release her unless $750 is paid in full! The After-Hours Emergency Vet in Greensboro, NC informed me that they would release Kiki to the local animal shelter if the payment was not made in full.
