About this campaign
She has always been the calm, quiet one in our family, with the sweetest and gentlest personality. She may not be loud or demanding, but she is happiest when she is close to the people she loves. She loves cuddling, curling up beside us, and simply being wherever her family is.
She recently swallowed a pork bone and needed emergency veterinary care because of the blockage and internal injury. She has already undergone evaluation and treatment, but she still needs close monitoring and may require additional testing, hospitalization, or further procedures depending on how her condition progresses.
Our bond is incredibly special because she is truly my best friend. She has been there through so many moments of my life, always offering quiet comfort just by being beside me. She does not need to do anything extraordinary, her presence alone makes me feel less alone. She means so much more to me than just being a pet; she is family and one of the greatest sources of comfort and love in my life.
Our dog swallowed a pork bone and suddenly needed emergency veterinary care. What started as a frightening accident has turned into an overwhelming situation for our family. We have already put about $4,000 on credit cards because we could not bear the thought of not getting her the care she needs, and now we are being told she may need even more treatment.
She is a deeply loved member of our family, and watching her go through this while also worrying about how we will afford to keep helping her has been heartbreaking. We have stretched ourselves as far as we can financially, but we are terrified that money could become the reason we cannot give her the treatment she needs. Any assistance, no matter the amount, would mean more to us than we can express and would give us hope that we can get her through this.
