About this campaign

Our sweet Lilly Lu will steal your heart with her love and sass. She was supposed to be our foster, but she won our hearts right away. Rescued from a bad breeding situation, she was given away far too young—without even having teeth—and weighed just 1 lb. We estimate she was only about 4 weeks old. Today, she’s a huge part of our family!

Lilly has two rare, serious heart defects: severe pulmonary stenosis and a patent ductus arteriosus (PDA). Her heart is already significantly affected, and without surgery, her life expectancy is less than a year. She needs surgery to repair both defects. She truly is a little heart “unicorn.” She getting care at Baileys Small Animal Teaching Hospital @ Auburn University.

Lilly Lu is so much more than a rescue—we can’t imagine our family without her. She has filled our home with love, laughter, and so much personality. She fought so hard to survive her difficult beginning, and now we’re fighting for her. The thought of losing her would absolutely crush every one of us.

We’ve always done everything we can for our fur babies, but Lilly’s care is more than we can manage alone. Her exam alone was over 500$. We’re asking for help because we refuse to give up on our sweet girl and will do everything we can to save her.
