When Lucy came into our care, we didn’t know much about her past. What we did know was that this big, beautiful Boerboel needed time, patience, structure, and a chance to succeed.

Lucy has been working with professional training on impulse control, boundaries, confidence, and appropriate social behavior. She has made progress — but we believe she is ready for the next step: a professional Board & Train program.

This isn’t about simply teaching Lucy commands. It’s about preparing her for life.

Board & Train would give Lucy consistent, structured education every day and allow professionals to continue building the skills she needs to become a successful companion.

Our goal isn’t just to find Lucy a home. It’s to prepare her to succeed and stay in that home.
