About this campaign
Mabel is our pride and joy!! He never has a dull moment, always wants to play, and loves to cuddle. He loves to antagonize our other cat, Dipper, and he loves to climb on his tower.
About two weeks ago, Mabel started having trouble urinating. We figured out the problem when he was found eliminating outside the litter box. We took him to the vet and they saw him and gave him some medication to help. Since, he has been back to the vet for more tests and his situation has gotten much worse. He has a full blockage of the urinary tract. He tested positive for crystals in his bladder. Our vet bills have piled up and we can’t afford them. We are behind on rent, and we have been denied any kind of help like care credit or scratch pay. According to the vet, Mabel will need this level of care for some time. He will need special food that costs at least $75 per bag, just to help with his condition.
Mabel has been the one positive thing in our lives since we brought him home. He’s always uplifting and cuddles with us when we’re down or sick. We love him so much and we can’t imagine being without him.
Costs here in Indy have climbed on everything and are simply unmanageable. Between rising costs of gas and groceries and school tuition costs, all of our bills have become unmanageable. Mabel gives me hope and comfort and assures us that everything will be okay. He has been our saving grace. And now we pray that you will help us save him! We are grateful for any amount you can donate to help save him.
