About this campaign
When Marie came to RBARI, it appeared she had suffered a brutal attack. Her face was so swollen that they feared her eye might rupture. She had bite wounds across her face and neck, painful abscesses, a severe flea infestation, and ears completely impacted with ear mite debris.
Thankfully, they received some much-needed good news: both of Marie’s eyes were intact. The swelling was caused by one of the abscesses.
It took time for the infections to drain and heal, but Marie is finally doing so much better! And somehow, through all of it, she has remained incredibly sweet, trusting, and friendly. ❤️ She’s now a little bundle of energy who never stops moving—or purring!
Marie recently had another scare when she showed signs of possible pneumonia and needed additional antibiotics. Thankfully, she is being a champ with all of her medications and care and refuses to let anything slow her down.
Please consider donating toward Marie’s medical care. Her recovery has required extensive treatment, medications, and veterinary care, and every donation helps continue giving her what she needs.
After everything she’s survived, Marie deserves nothing but love, comfort, and a happy future.
