Help Mazie get ACL Surgery — Nashville, TN

Mazie is my sweet 4-year-old girl and one of the biggest sources of happiness in my life. She has always been such a loving, happy, and energetic dog. She absolutely loves being outside, exploring the yard, going for long walks, and being part of whatever we are doing.

Recently, Mazie injured her ACL, and everything changed for her. She is now limited to home rest and is unable to run, play, go on walks, or even spend the time outside that she loves so much. Seeing such a happy, active girl suddenly become so limited has been incredibly difficult.

We are doing everything we can to get Mazie the surgery she needs so she can get back to being the playful, energetic girl we know and love. She deserves the chance to run, explore, and enjoy life again. She means so much to our family, and we just want to give her that chance. ❤️🐾

Mazie recently injured her ACL and is currently experiencing pain and limited mobility. She has been placed on strict home/crate rest and is unable to participate in her normal activities, including running, playing, going for walks, or spending extended time outside.

Mazie needs ACL repair surgery to treat her injury and give her the best opportunity to return to a normal, active life. We are raising funds to help cover the cost of her surgery and necessary veterinary care. Her estimated surgical cost is approximately $4500

Mazie is so much more than a pet to us — she is family. She has brought so much love, happiness, and laughter into our lives, and her sweet personality has made her an incredibly special part of our family.

It is heartbreaking to watch her struggle to do the things that have always made her happiest. She loves being outside, going on walks, playing, and spending time with her dog siblings. Since her injury, she has had to give up so many of the things she loves. She can’t run and play with her brothers and sisters like she used to, and she has to watch them play while she rests. Seeing her have to stay separated from them has been especially difficult because they are such an important part of her everyday life.

We want to give Mazie the opportunity to recover and have her happy, active life back — including being able to run and play with her dog siblings again. She has given our family so much unconditional love, and now we want to do everything we can to give that love back to her.

We are asking for help because the cost of Mazie’s ACL surgery is more than we are able to comfortably afford on our own. We are doing everything we can to provide her with the care she needs, but the estimated cost of surgery is approximately $4500.

We have already started fundraising and have been incredibly grateful for everyone who has helped us so far. We are turning to the community because we don’t want financial limitations to prevent Mazie from getting the treatment she needs.
