About this campaign
Moe and his brother Billy were born in my living room right at my feet as I sat on the couch. I was instantly in love. I immediately proclaimed "these two are mine". I've loved them as family every day since.
Moe dislocated his hip. We went to the veterinary hospital. They put him under anesthesia and attempted to reset his hip. After two weeks of recovery we went back for x-rays only to find that the situation had actually gotten worse. Now the prognosis is that it would be best for Moe if the leg were amputated.
Moe is truly one of a kind. Even through all of this he's still his same joyful and friendly self. . Im not even slightly worried about how he'll take losing his leg. He takes it all like a champ. He's been sleeping in my bed every night since this happened. Which tells me trusts me to do right by him. I could never have him put down unless there was absolutely no choice .
Im on the minimum amount of Social Security disability. I exhausted my savings having his leg reset and getting all of his x-rays and medication. I procured a loan for $1500 to make the half payment needed to schedule the surgery.
