At 11, Daisy Needs Us More Than Ever
About this campaign
Low Rider Dachshund Rescue of FL is fighting to give Ms. Daisy the chance she deserves.
At 11 years old, this sweet dachshund came into our care facing several serious medical problems. Daisy arrived with a severe skin condition, mammary tumors, and a spinal issue whose cause is still unknown. She has also been found to have a problem with her spleen that may require surgery.
Daisy has already had one tumor removed, and thankfully, the pathology showed clear margins. That's an encouraging sign, but there is still much more to figure out before we know what her future will look like.
We are working closely with BluePearl vet specialists, Dr. Ashley Kelly, Low Rider's Director, and a veterinary neurosurgeon to determine the best course of treatment for Daisy. Her next major step is an MRI of her spine and spleen, which will give her veterinary team a clearer picture of what is happening and help determine what treatment she needs next.
For an 11-year-old dog who has already been through so much, Daisy deserves the chance to get the answers and care she needs.
Your donation will help Low Rider Dachshund Rescue provide Daisy with the diagnostic imaging, specialist care, veterinary treatment, and potential surgery she needs as we work to get her healthy and comfortable.
Our rescue is completely volunteer-run, and in 2026, we are averaging almost one dog coming into our care every day. Every donation helps us continue saying yes to dogs like Daisy when they need us most.
Whether you can give $10 or $100, it all makes a difference for Daisy and for the dogs who are still waiting for their chance.
Thank you for helping us fight for Ms. Daisy. ❤️
