About this campaign
Mya came into our lives as a 8 week old puppy. She was a very energetic playful boxer. Mya has always been very loving, she enjoys her 500 toys, and she loves us. She is a part of our family. She loves to cuddle, she loves to give paw, and she lives her cat siblings.
Mya has been seen by 2 of her vets. Fullerton Animal Hospital and Honeygo Animal Hospital. We don'thave an exact diagnosis yet because they say her symptoms are all neurological and she needs an MRI to diagnose the issue. If it is a brain tumor she would either need treatment or medication. If it's a spinal issue she would need surgery. If it's from the flea medicine I am not 100% sure what she would need.
Mya is an part of our family. She is no different than having a child. She is our baby. It has been difficult to watch Mya go from a happy, playful, energetic, loving dog to having to rely on us for everything even down to hand feeding her. Her bond with our family has always been special but we have grown even closer throughout this struggle. It would mean everything to figure out exactly what is happening neoroloogically so that we can get her the treatment she needs and get her quality of life better. It breaks my heart seeing her like this.
Mya is an 8 year old boxer. A few weeks ago she started having issues with balance, walking, a change in personality, and just alot of neurological problems. She has been to the vet multiple times. Recently she lost most of the use of her back legs. She is currently in need of an MRI so that her brain and spine can be scanned to figure out what is causing all of these issues. We were told it could be a stroke, could be a brain tumor, it could be a reaction to the flea medicine she was given, it could be a spinal injury. The only way we can find out is by having an MRI to get the answers we need. At this time, we cannot afford an MRI. We have already spent a few thousand dollars trying to treat her symptoms. Mya could really use an MRI to diagnose what is going on neurologically.
