About this campaign
Nova is my miniature Australian Shepherd with lightning-blue eyes and so much love for life. She loves everyone around her and seeing the world. Now she’s fighting IMHA, and I’m asking for help giving her the chance to thrive again. Behind this diagnosis is a little dog with people to love, places to explore, and a life I want her to keep enjoying.
On September 23, 2026, Nova was diagnosed with immune-mediated hemolytic anemia (IMHA), a serious disease that causes her immune system to destroy her red blood cells. She needed hospitalization, a blood transfusion, and testing at Omega Veterinary Group. Her fight continues for the next two years with medication, repeat bloodwork, and follow-up visits to monitor her response to treatment.
What makes Nova special is how much she loves being here. You can see her love for life in her eyes and in the love she has for everyone around her. I want more time with her, more of the world for her to see, and more days when she can simply enjoy being Nova. Helping her through this illness means giving us a chance at that future together. She has never not given me her 100% and I will too.
I went into debt to give Nova a fighting chance to live. Her care has cost $8,466.21 to date, and I’m facing financial hardship while trying to keep her treatment going. Please help me give her the care she needs. Any donation would ease this burden as I fight to save her.
