Thank you everyone so incredibly much for your generosity and kindness during the past few weeks. It genuinely means so much to me and sweet girl Olive - more than you will ever know. We are about to head to the vet to start her procedure! I will let everyone know when she is all done and in recovery. Thank you, everyone, again for all of the help that you gave and the kindness you showed to me.
About this campaign
Olive is a 6 year old spunky cat. She loves to play fetch, hangout with her mama, and keep watch over the household from the highest places she can find. She has one of the boldest personalities I have ever seen in a cat; she is very vocal and lets her opinions be heard. I adopted Olive in August of 2021 at the humane society in my college town, and she has been my best friend ever since.
Olive has recently fractured her right upper canine tooth. She is scheduled to have the tooth extracted on September 16, 2026 at Animal Medical Center of Chicago, which is a costly procedure. This procedure will help prevent any further infection and damage from the pulp exposed in her tooth.
Olive has moved with me in every season, including making a move from Ohio to Chicago for my graduate education, where we are now big city gals! Olive has emotionally supported me through so many ventures and I want her to be as happy, healthy, and comfortable as possible through this journey.
I am a graduate student at Northwestern University and I solely use loans for mine and Olive’s cost of living while in school. This cost has been very unprecedented and impossible to prepare for. We would appreciate any help during this time.
