Help Pearly get Splenectomy / parathyroidectomy — San Diego, CA

Pearly is such a house hippo. She loves to lounge and nap and she loves her pillows. She is a beautiful lazy girl who loves food and cuddles. This girl came to be seven years ago, and has been spoiled ever since. My girl is sweet, loves to play with other dogs and sunbathe to charge her battery.

Pearly needs a major surgery. She needs glands in her neck removed, they are overproducing calcium. She also needs her spleen removed due to a large mass present that is pushing/ constricting her stomach. Both would be done together at the Veterinary Specialty Hospital- North County. The vet says they have no concerns for this procedure and that Pearly should bounce back into good health.

Pearly is my first, my first baby my first love. I believe she has to much more life to live and wants to live it. She is a happy house hippo who loves her adventures with her wagon so my lady doesn’t get too tired. Her quality of life is my priority and I know she will get her spark back and will be grateful once she’s recovered. She is everything to me.

I can’t afford this surgery, I have reached out to foundations and am selling my plasma to raise funds but it’s not enough. I have struggled financially and have 3 jobs but I just can’t cover this alone. My angel needs this surgery and she is worth it.
