About this campaign
Piper is such a friendly dog, she loves butt scratches and will gladly give her bottom to anyone who pets her. She shares her food with her cat brother even though she shouldn't. She is very energetic and loves her daily walks and plays but still loves to lounge around the house when we get home.
Earlier this week I noticed she started limping on her back left leg. She can still get around and can run if she wants to. She lets me touch it without wincing in pain or nipping at me and it seems to do better when I massage it and help her stretch it. I haven't been able to get her seen yet.
I got Piper when I was deep in my depression. She gave me a reason to go to work, take care of myself and just get out of the house in general. I trained her to be my PTSD service dog and helps me get through my day. I haven't been able to have her with me because I don't want to cause her more pain. It's been difficult but I will gladly struggle to make sure she it ok.
I recently moved to San Diego from out of state and my start date for my new job got pushed to mid-October. I am currently trying to get unemployment but it has not been approved yet.
