About this campaign

Olive is my senior boy, a domestic shorthair who is classy. He came into my life in 2022. He's a fighter: last winter he pulled through a serious blood infection. He also absolutely loves milk, and his lactose-free cat milk is his favorite treat.

Olive has been hospitalized twice at the University of Illinois Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Urbana, from August 23–26 and again September 11–13. His doctors found non-regenerative anemia, meaning his body isn't making enough new red blood cells, along with suspected lower-airway disease and, most recently, neutropenia, a low count of infection-fighting white blood cells. He's home now, but the cause is still being investigated. His internal medicine recheck is September 17, and his team has recommended more testing.

I got my cat in honor of my dad suddenly passing away in 2021. We grew up with tuxedo cats and he was a way to commemorate my dad.

I’m a student with over $360,000 of Student Dad. I’m trying to figure out when I’m going to get a job how I’m gonna get a job and how I can pay off my student Dad on top of my pet care I do not want my cat to pass because of financial limitations. I want him to tell us when he’s ready to go.
