About this campaign

I have had Pooh bear for two weeks now we got him out of the blue in the craziest situation, getting off a river from kayaking, there was a storm that drove us out, locked my keys in the trunk because they were in a waterproof box and if none of that would’ve happened, I would’ve never ran into the people who were giving away puppies for free at the river. That’s where I met Pooh bear. The last one left the front of the pack. Small, frail fragile, but so cuddly and sweet. He’s very attached. He likes to be close by. He loves cuddles and soft blankets. He crosses his arms when he’s most comfortable .

He has a bad case of roundworms and hookworms. As well as a skin condition called puppy pyoderma His immune system is weak and cannot fight them off even with medication he’s anemic due to the worms. He needs fluids and a blood transfusion to get back on track and be able to feel well enough to eat and gain some weight get on some more dewormer and get those nasty worms out out of there but his health is standing in the way, and his immune system isn’t strong enough right now. I have had him seen by Dunedin Medical Center and they deemed him necessary to be hospitalized.

We have put our all into Pooh bear’s recovery and would just like to see him get better. We love him so much already and are committed to his success.

Financially, I was not prepared for the situation when I was presented with the puppy at the river. I just went into Mama mode and wanted to rescue him because God knows where he would’ve ended up . Financially, I struggle with the hospitalization expense..
