About this campaign

Little Quiggle should be settling into her next chapter, but instead, this puppy is facing a serious medical emergency.

Shortly before being transported to Maine to join our sister rescue, Quiggle swallowed twine that caused an intestinal obstruction. To save her life, she underwent an enterotomy, a procedure in which surgeons opened her intestine to remove the obstruction. The surgical team also removed twine from her abdomen and from around the back of her tongue.

Quiggle's condition has been serious enough that her veterinarian referred her to a 24-hour emergency hospital for round-the-clock monitoring and continued care. With the possibility of additional surgery, her medical expenses continue to mount.

Quiggle needs urgent veterinary care, and we need your help to make sure she gets it.

At this time, we are still gathering information about Quiggle's condition and ongoing treatment. What we know here at Summit's Sanctuary, is that she has already undergone major surgery and needs continued monitoring as she recovers. If another procedure becomes necessary, the costs could increase even further.

As a volunteer-run rescue, we do everything we can to help vulnerable dogs and puppies get the care they need. But emergency situations like Quiggle's can create medical bills far beyond what our limited resources can cover on our own.

Will you help us cover Quiggle's emergency medical expenses?

Your donation will help Summit’s Sanctuary pay for Quiggle's surgical care, emergency hospitalization, monitoring, and any additional eligible veterinary expenses related to her treatment. Every contribution helps ease the financial burden and allows us to focus on getting this little girl the care she needs.

Quiggle has already been through so much, and we want to give her every opportunity to recover. We are doing everything we can to support her through this medical crisis, but we cannot do it alone.

Please consider donating to help Quiggle, and if you are unable to give, sharing her story can help us reach others who may be able to contribute.

Thank you for standing with Quiggle and helping us care for the vulnerable dogs who depend on us. ❤️🐾

Quiggle Has Another Setback in Her Recovery. ❤️🐾

Poor Quiggle just can't seem to catch a break. After everything this little puppy has already endured, she is now facing another complication that is making her road to recovery even more difficult.

Quiggle has developed a reaction to her sutures, resulting in several large abscesses along the suture line. This is another hurdle for a puppy who has already been through so much, and she needs continued veterinary attention to address these complications and help her heal.

Quiggle's recovery is proving to be a difficult journey, and her medical expenses continue to grow.

At Summit's Sanctuary, we want to make sure Quiggle receives the care she needs through every stage of her recovery. But with each new complication comes additional veterinary care and expenses that are difficult for a volunteer-run rescue to manage alone.

Will you help us continue caring for Quiggle?

Your donations help us cover her ongoing veterinary expenses as she faces this latest setback. Every contribution makes a difference and helps us continue to be there for her when she needs us most.

Quiggle deserves the chance to get through this recovery and move forward to a brighter future. We will continue sharing updates as we learn more about her progress.

Thank you for standing by Quiggle and helping us give this little girl the care she needs, even when her journey takes another unexpected turn. ❤️🐾
