Rocky Needs Your Help to Find Out What’s Causing His Inguinal Mass

Meet Rocky, an adorable 8-year-old French Bulldog from California who has an inguinal mass, possibly an inguinal hernia that will be confirmed during surgery. His surgery—costs approximately $1,522.

Rocky's story written by his dad

“This is Rocky, my 8-year-old French bulldog. Rocky is not just a pet — he's my son, and I love him like my own blood. I brought him home from a farm in Ojai when he was seven months old.

When Rocky came home, my other dog Bella, a little Chihuahua, was lonely — she waited for me every day to come home. Rocky was immediately her best friend. Even though he's a big, strong French bulldog and she's tiny and older, he respects her — he lets her eat first and he's always gentle with her. He's so empathetic that when I trim Bella's nails, Rocky whimpers like he's feeling it for her. He protects her, and he protects me too. He's the most amazing dog.

In September we found out Rocky has a tumor in his groin that is growing fast. He hasn't had any treatment for it yet — what he needs now is surgery to remove it, and his vet is ready to operate as soon as the funding is in place.

Thank you to Paws 4 A Cure, and to everyone who donates, for helping Rocky get the care he needs. Our goal is to raise the last $200 of his surgery bill. Every bit of help means Rocky gets his chance, and Bella gets her best friend back healthy.”

Every donation helps ensure Rocky can continue receiving the surgery that keeps him healthy and gives him more precious time with his dad.
