About this campaign

Roo is my sweet 4-year-old cat that we adopted, she is such an important part of our little family. She has the most loving personality and has a special way of knowing when my daughter or I need comfort. She is so much more than a pet to us — she is family, our companion, and honestly our little emotional support system wrapped in fur, and she has been there for us through life's ups and downs.

On 9/1, Roo had a serious medical emergency and needed surgery for a linear foreign body removal. It was incredibly scary and happened so unexpectedly.

Roo received care at CityVet where Dr. Sarah Vigil performed the surgery and saved my sweet girl. I am beyond grateful that Roo was able to receive the treatment she needed, but the emergency surgery also came with significant veterinary expenses.

Roo is so much more than a cat—she is family and a huge source of comfort for my daughter and me. She seems to know when we need her most and fills our home with love every day. The thought of losing her was heartbreaking. We truly wouldn't know what to do without our sweet girl, and seeing her healthy and happy again means everything to us.

Roo’s emergency surgery was completely unexpected. I have already paid $2,000 toward her care, but I’m struggling to cover the remaining balance. Asking for help isn’t easy, but I’ll do anything for Roo. Any donation or share means the world to my daughter and me.
