Help Salem get Tooth removal and dental cleaning — Bangor, ME

Salem was rescued from a negligent and abusive environment that claimed the lives of multiple cats before him. We fought to have him relinquished to us fearing for his well-being.

He in return has repaid us by being the most loving and caring pet I have ever had to privilege of raising. This spring we have reached 9 wonderful years together.

Our local Broadway vet in bangor maine has previously noted a tooth was beginning to decay. We have tried to put aside the funds for Salem to undergo the necessary surgery to remove the bad tooth, Yet the degradation of the tooth has outpaced our ability to provide the surgery, he has now lost his ability to eat dry food (now on wet food only) and started experiencing bad breath.

Salem is not just my little boy, but my three year old daughters best friend. He is a core member of our family. We hate to know he is in pain even if he doesn't show it. Due to his age we are deeply concerned about what other issues could arise if his dental care is not sorted out, as his age makes him more vulnerable than younger cats to complications.

We have faced back to back illness and financial struggles these last few years, we are struggling to meet the cost or be able to shoulder the burden of debt the cost would cause should we move forward with credit options. This would be a huge relief to have addressed.
