About this campaign
This little kitten is fighting for her life after suffering devastating injuries to both of her back legs and her tail.
Veterinarians believe she was very recently struck by the blades of a riding mower, traumatically amputating her legs and part of her tail. The blood loss left her severely anemic, and her dangerously high white blood cell count indicates she is also battling an infection.
Now, necrotic tissue on her legs and tail must be cleaned away—an extremely painful procedure requiring sedation if her bloodwork remains stable. She’ll need at least 12 hours of emergency veterinary care as her doctors continue to stabilize her.
Right now, everything is being taken hour by hour. But there are reasons to hope: she is eating, she is holding on, and she is fighting. ❤️🩹
Castaway Critters is fighting right alongside her and showing this tiny girl that her life matters.
As her veterinarian said, “This little girl is a true fighter!”
Please consider donating toward her emergency care, procedures, medications, and recovery. No amount is too small when a life this fragile is hanging in the balance.
Hold on, tiny baby. So many people are rooting for you.
