Help Sassy Rivera get Biopsy — Holyoke, MA

Sassy is so much more than a dog to me, she is my family, my best friend, my little girl and truly my world.

She’s my 13 year old 5 pound little Yorkie/Chihuahua mix, but somehow she has always had a personality much bigger than her tiny body. She is sweet, loving, stubborn, and sassy in the best way. She has been by my side through some of the hardest and happiest moments of my life.

Sassy has been dealing with ongoing skin problems that have required veterinary care and treatment. More recently, two small masses were discovered, and her veterinarian has recommended a biopsy to determine exactly what they are and whether they are cancerous. She has been receiving medical care at Second Chance Animal Services Community Veterinary Hospital in North Brookfield MA

I don’t have children, so Sassy is my family & one of the most important parts of my life. She has been by my side through some of the hardest moments I’ve ever experienced, including my mental health struggles & hamstring surgery. Her presence has brought me comfort, strength, & happiness when I needed it most & I strive every day to give her that same unconditional love in return.

I have done everything in my power to manage Sassy’s medical expenses on my own. However, as Sassy has gotten older, her medical needs have become more complicated, & the cost of keeping up with her care is becoming difficult for me to manage alone.
