Help Schmendrick get Exam/Xray/Possible Surgery — Washington, DC

Her name is Schmendrick. She is 9 years old and I think she is the most magical creature i've ever met. I brought her home in a box from a woman on craigslist to help in my recovery from CPTSD and she was actually too young so I had to bottle feed her. We have never been apart since. She's super vocal, very bossy, energetic, and loves food. She likes sleeping next to me and running around.

I am unsure of what exactly is wrong but I strongly suspect she may be dealing with some sort of obstruction from a hairball. She usually rushes me like a maniac for food but I noticed 2 days ago that she wasn't interested in eating at all. She has a hard stomach, vomited what she ate, is lethargic and hasn't pooped in 2 days. I could take her to an VEG ER or Bond Vet Capitol Hill for treatment.

Frankly, she saved my life. I brought her home at one of my darkest points so that I could have something to motivate me to live every day and she's done that. She's my whole world, I owe her everything.

My physical health declined because of disability and I lost my job and ability to work 3 years ago. I have no income while I battle the courts for disability payments. I am desperately trying to find resources to get her help , keep her comfortable, and out of a shelter.
