About this campaign

Smitty lives next door to the caretaker of Flying Pigs Sanctuary, and every morning around 6:30 a.m., he’s waiting at her front door for their usual wander, bunny feeding, and, of course, cookies. ❤️

But one morning, Smitty wasn’t there. He wouldn’t come out, and even more concerning, he had no interest in his cookies—something he never turns down.

She knew something was wrong, so she rushed him to the University of Tennessee, where he was admitted for dehydration and stayed overnight for fluids, treatment, monitoring, and bloodwork.

Thankfully, when she visited him before heading back to work, he ate some cookies. 🥹🍪 That little moment was everything.

Smitty’s estimated hospital bill is $600–$800, and we could really use our village. Please consider donating toward his emergency care. Every dollar helps FPS cover his treatment and continue saying YES when animals need us most.

$10, $20, $50—it all adds up. Please donate if you can, and send our sweet Smitty some good thoughts for better bloodwork. ❤️🐷

We’ll never regret acting too quickly. We would only regret waiting too long.
