Help Stella get ACL Repair (TPLO) Surgery — IL

Stella is my 10-year-old Boxer/Greyhound mix. She is the sweetest, most loving girl you could meet. She is incredibly intelligent and can covey exactly what she's feeling just by looking at you. She can be a little demanding when she wants something but at the end of the day, all she really wants is to be with her people.

Recently, Stella was doing what she loves most which is playing in the yard with her ball. As she was running, I heard a pop and she immediately went down and started crying. She now can't put any weight on her back right leg. The vet has diagnosed her with a fully torn ACL and is recommending TPLO surgery which gives her the best chance to walk and live comfortably again.

I brought Stella home at 10 weeks old and over the last 10 years she has been my best friend and my family. We even share the same birthday! She has been with me through multiple moves and the loss of my grandma. Stella became the one constant in my life that I could count on. I cannot imagine my life without her. I just want her to be able to walk again and not live every day in so much pain.

The surgery is expected to cost $5,000 along with significant aftercare. She is currently on pain meds and sedatives to keep her comfortable. I have already paid for X-rays, blood work, and her current meds but an unexpected $5,000 is more than I can manage alone right now.
