Help Stella Blue get Bilateral TPLO (CCL) Surgery — Houston, TX

This is Stella Blue, a sweet, silly, & endlessly active 7-year-old pup. I rescued her at just 7 weeks old, and she's been my ride or die ever since. With her expressive face & happy disposition, Stella makes lifelong friends wherever we go. She's pure energy - her greatest passion is running, along with a little something known as "Stella Parkour."

On Labor Day, Stella decided taking a leap from one couch to the other sounded like the optimum way to greet her Grampy, and in doing so ended up tearing cruciate ligaments in both back legs. Stella needs TPLO surgery on both back knees, with an estimate of $8,000 if we do both at the same time, and $12,000 if we do the recommended consecutive unilateral surgeries.

Keeper of my heart, generator of my smiles - this girl makes every minute of the day a little more special. She honestly makes a positive impression on everyone she meets. I've accepted that I will always be "Stella's mom" in the neighborhood...and I couldn't be prouder. I want to make sure Stella gets to continue enjoying life, which means having the ability to stay active and run without pain.

I'm in the midst of recovering from losing a dream job due to the business closing. The apartment I've been renting has also recently sold and moving expenses are adding up. My savings are close to depleted, leaving me scrambling to cover these large vet bills for my girl.
