Stinson was a gift from my mom after my dad died in 2020, so I wouldn't be alone. He saved me from grief and depression. He's my son and proud dad of two girls. Now a painful perineal hernia makes him strain to poop until he bleeds. Hearing him cry shatters me. This is my last chance to save his life.
Stinson has a perineal hernia. Tissue near his rectum has pushed through weakened muscle, making pooping excruciating. He strains for hours, cries in pain, and sometimes bleeds. Without surgery he faces complete blockage, strangulation and death. Watching him suffer daily is unbearable. Corrective surgery is his only chance to live pain-free.
Stinson is my son, not just my dog. My mom gave him to me after my dad died in 2020 so I wouldn't be alone, and he saved me from grief and depression. He's a proud dad to two girls, one his spitting image. He completes our family. Losing him would leave a void that could never be filled.
January lost my job , then a temp job ended. Bills piled up . Now, I’m a special education teacher and am fighting to catch up and keep a roof over my family's head. Saving for Stinson's life-saving surgery while paying bills and catching is more than I can do alone.

Stinsons condition has gotten worst. The hernia has grown this week and popping is way more painful for him. We are so close to the goal please help me close the gap. If I can get to 3k I can handle the rest. Please donate if you can share if you can’t.

Celebrated our birthday today!!! He’s now 8. Hoping for another 8 years. He really struggled to poop today so I didn’t wanna give him a hearty birthday meal like I normally do.
