Help Stormy get Orthopedic Surgery or Amputation — IL

Stormy is a 10 month old Pomapoo, she is very rambunctious but she’s also such a good girl! She loves playing with her human brother, running around outside and eating any and everything in sight!

Almost 2 months ago, July 16th, Stormy broke her front left leg. We took her to the vet for a recheck on September 7th and they informed us her leg was not healing and had now gotten an infection from the bones breaking down. They said she needs corrective surgery or amputation urgently, neither of which we can afford. Petersburg Vet Clinic will be operating.

We want to do everything we can to save our sweet girl’s leg. She is one of the lights of our life next to her human brother. We just want to give her the best quality of life and allow her to still be able to run around as much as she loves to. We got her as a small puppy and she has given our family so much joy, we love her so much.

We really need help! Over the past 3 months we’ve had one car stolen and another broken into and damaged to the point we couldn’t drive it until it was fixed. It would mean the world to us if we could save our baby’s leg. We have her surgery scheduled for Tuesday.
