Help Theo get CT scan/biopsy/rhinoscopy — Haines City, FL

Theo came into my life at a time when I was struggling emotionally. I did not even realize how much I needed him. My daughter’s friend bought Theo but was unable to keep him so they asked our family to take him, we said yes and he has been such a blessing to our family. He is sweet and cuddly and he is my therapy dog. He has helped me through some very rough stretches of my life.

In February Theo started having a runny nose. The vets thought allergies and prescribed allergy medicine. The medics did not seem to help and Theo got progressively worse. I reached out to another vet since I thought Theo was not going to make it. He was struggling so much to breathe. The vet did a test for aspergillosis and saw mold spores in his nose. We have been treating him but the next step is a CT scan and rhinoscopy. We have not had these tests done due to lack of finances. He would need a CT scan and rhinoscopy. The amount I am given for these procedures is between $3400 and $3600. This is just to see the damage done by the mold and not even the care moving forward.

In 2023 when Theo became a part of our family my husband was struggling with mental issues and spent some time in the hospital. Theo has been my companion and friend. He was there for me during that time and he is such a great comfort to me. He is the sweetest cuddliest friend and I hate seeing him suffering. He is only 3 and it breaks my heart.

We do not have the funds to pay for these tests. We have already spent hundreds with testing for mold and the anti fungal medicines. We are reaching out to our community to help Theo!
