About this campaign
Thomas was one of 15 cats Flying Pigs Sanctuary recently pulled from a colony in East Tennessee—and from the moment they met him, one thing was painfully clear: putting this sweet boy back outside was NOT an option.
Thomas doesn’t act like a cat who belongs on the streets. He looks up at you with those big, soulful eyes, rubs his entire body against you, begs for pets, and purrs the second he realizes he’s safe. All he wants is affection.
After his initial neuter, they brought Thomas to the vet for a full evaluation to figure out exactly what he needed to get healthy and be able to find his forever home.
Unfortunately, this poor guy has been through more than they realized.
Thomas tested FIV positive, his teeth are in terrible condition and require a dental extraction, and he has a wound that they’re currently treating and working hard to get healed.
But here's the wonderful part: Thomas has an incredible foster who said YES to him.
He has a warm, safe place to recover. He has someone making sure he gets his medication and care. He has soft places to sleep, plenty of food, and—probably his favorite part—someone to give him all those pets he has clearly been waiting so long for.
Now Flying Pigs Sanctuary needs your help with the rest. They need to raise the funds to cover Thomas’s vet bills, dental and ongoing wound care so they can get this sweet boy completely healed and ready for adoption.
Because Thomas isn't a "feral cat." He isn't a cat who belongs outside simply because that's where they found him.
He's somebody's future best friend.
Once his dental is complete and his wound is healed, Thomas will be ready to find the family who will make sure he never has to wonder where his next meal—or his next cuddle—is coming from again. And we have a feeling he's going to make someone the BEST cat ever.
Please consider donating toward Thomas's care. Every dollar helps them not only say YES to Thomas, but continue saying yes to the next friendly cat they find struggling to survive on the streets of East Tennessee.
They deserve more than survival. They deserve homes.
If funds raised exceed Waggle's goal for this featured pet, Waggle will use the surplus to help other animals in catastrophic situations and support our mission to end economic euthanasia.
